Everything looked fine on the dashboard...

Everything looked fine on the dashboard...

Over the years, while working in banking, ISP, and telco environments, we kept running into the same pattern:

Everything looked fine on the dashboard...

  • Servers were healthy.
  • APIs responded.
  • All monitoring lights were green.
  • And still — customers couldn’t complete transactions, flows got stuck, revenue-impacting processes silently failed.

That’s when it hit us:

Infrastructure-level monitoring wasn’t enough.

The real issues lived within the business logic itself — in customer journeys, transaction chains, and domain-specific workflows that traditional monitoring simply couldn’t see.

From that point, we started designing and implementing Business Logic Monitoring systems that don’t just measure the platform, but understand the business behind it.

We’ve now applied this approach across high-stakes environments:

  • financial transaction flows in banking
  • subscriber lifecycle and provisioning in ISP systems
  • complex service activation workflows in telco ecosystems

And the results were always the same:
Business-level visibility reveals problems hours sooner than infrastructure metrics — sometimes even before customers notice anything.

Today, we see this not as an add-on, but as a cornerstone of reliable operations.
If your organization wants to move from “everything looks ok” to “we know exactly what’s happening in the business,” happy to share what we learned along the way.
